New York City authorities have decided to implement congestion pricing for entering Manhattan, a move supported by local residents.

The goal is to alleviate the constant traffic jams in the city's business district and generate additional funds for road maintenance.

Starting mid-June, passenger vehicles will be charged $15 to enter Manhattan, while trucks and buses will face fees ranging from $24 to $36. The exact method of payment for these charges has yet to be determined.
